WHITE PLAINS, NY – The Westchester Knicks (7-3), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, sealed its fourth victory in a row with a 104-95 win at home against the Windy City Bulls (3-6), the Chicago Bulls’ affiliate.
Knicks Two-Way player Isaiah Hicks went 14-for-16, tallying a game-high 32 points and falling just short of a double-double with nine rebounds. Knicks affiliate player Trey Burke was right behind him with 29 points, also just missing a double-double with his nine assists. Two-Way player Luke Kornet did a bit of everything in the win, finishing with 17 points, eight assists, six rebounds, and three blocks. Knicks affiliate player Nigel Hayes also had a well-rounded game, supplying 11 points, six rebounds, and five assists. On assignment from the New York Knicks, Ron Baker contributed nine points and five rebounds.
Bulls Two-Way player Ryan Arcidiacono finished with a team-high 24 points to go with eight assists and three rebounds. Center Tyler Harris supplied 23 points with seven rebounds, guard Brandon Wood delivered 18 points and five rebounds, while forward Jaylen Johnson supplied 17 points and three rebounds.
After taking a two-point lead less than two minutes into the game, Windy City fell behind and stayed there for the remainder of the game, the Knicks taking as much as a 16-point lead late in the second quarter. Making a run late in the third, the Bulls managed to come back within three, but Westchester picked right back up in the final quarter, once again running up a double-digit lead and ultimately coming out on top by nine.
