Raptors 905 (19-12) continued to roll Saturday afternoon, defeating the Wisconsin Herd (16-16) 106-95 at Hershey Centre. Toronto Raptors assignee Bruno Caboclo made an impact across the stat sheet, recording game-highs with 25 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. Xavier Munford put forth the strongest performance for the Herd, recording 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Strong starts would define the opening half for Raptors 905, who jumped out to an early 13-2 lead. The Herd would rebound in the quarter, narrowing the 905 advantage to five, 28-23 at the close of the first quarter. Another strong start to the second quarter helped Raptors 905 take a seven-point lead into the half.
The second half opened with a battle of the big men, both Kennedy Meeks of the 905 and Joel Bolomboy of the Herd posted quarter-high eight-point efforts in the third. Despite a narrow 28-25 advantage in the quarter, Wisconsin trailed 71-67 headed to the final frame.
In the fourth Caboclo would erupt to take control of the contest, scoring a quarter-high 14 points, including a four-for-six performance from three-point range. Fuquan Edwin added nine points in the frame to help Raptors 905 secure its fourth win in a row.
