OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Blue (20-16) defeated the Salt Lake City Stars (11-28), 104-95, on Saturday night.
Oklahoma City trailed 94-93 with over three minutes left in the game, but Dakari Johnson grabbed an offensive rebound and split a pair of free throws to spark an 8-0 run for the Blue.
On assignment from the Thunder, Johnson contributed a game-high 27 points and 12 rebounds, seven offensive, for his third double-double with the Blue this season. Fellow Thunder assignee Terrance Ferguson added nine points and two steals.

“I was pleased with our defense, especially down the stretch,” said Head Coach Mark Daigneault. “I thought we stepped up on that end of the floor and that’s what ultimately allowed us to win the game.”
Oklahoma City opened the game on a 6-0 run, and had the lead balloon to 15 in the first quarter. The Stars’ Diamond Stone scored nine points in the first half to trim Oklahoma City’s lead to 54-48 at halftime.
