FIBA AmeriCup: USA vs. Virgin Islands Recap

The United States Basketball Team is headed to the FIBA AmeriCup Finals on Sunday, September 3 after a convincing 90-62 win over the Virgin Islands on Saturday.

Xavier Munford’s of the Greensboro Swarm lead the United States with a double-double of 20 points and ten rebounds as the team improved to 4-0 in the tournament. Texas Legends forward Jameel Warney tallied 12 points, six assists, and two blocks for the USA. Oklahoma City Blue’s Reggie Williams and Reno Bighorns’ Reggie Hearn and Kendall Marshall added ten points apiece in the win.

 

The United States will face Argentina (4-0) in Finals on Sunday, September 3 at 8:00 PM ET.
