The NBA G League is right back at it on Twitch to start 2018, after a day off from hoops action on New Year’s Day.
The Salt Lake City Stars (affiliate of the Utah Jazz) are set to host the Texas Legends (affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks) in Tuesday’s Twitch matchup, at 9 PM ET. WATCH THE GAME HERE

The Legends (11-10) came up big in a road contest against the Agua Caliente Clippers (13-10) on Dec. 30. The Legends, who came into the game after a week of rest for the holidays, battled back and forth with the Clippers before shooting 62 percent in the final 12 minutes en route to an 18-point victory.
Six Legends finished with double-digits points, including double-doubles from Jameel Warney (24 points and 13 rebounds) and Mavericks two-way player Johnathan Motley (12 points and 10 rebounds). Wade Baldwin IV led the scoring efforts with 26 points, and added seven rebounds to go with seven assists, while Jalen Jones went 7-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-4 from range for 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Justin Dentmon notched 23 points and dished out seven assists while Xavier Johnson came off the bench to tally 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
The Stars battled against the South Bay Lakers (14-7), one of the G League’s best, in the second game in back-to-back nights for Salt Lake City on Dec. 30. The Stars (3-20) fought back in the game in the 3rd quarter, cutting the Lakers’ lead to 89-81 heading to the 4th quarter, but struggled to hit shots, knocking down just 38.1 percent from the field, and couldn’t make up the deficit.
Salt Lake City had five players reach double figures, paced by Utah Jazz two-way player Erik McCree (21 points, seven rebounds). Taylor Braun also added 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Deonte Burton (14 points, six assists), Jermaine Taylor (12 points) and Isaiah Cousins (11 points) also finished in double digits, while Utah Jazz assignee Tony Bradley grabbed eight points and 12 rebounds.
