Alums Make Up 43 Percent of Rosters at 2015 Samsung NBA Summer League in Las Vegas

The 2014-15 season ended with NBA D-League alumni making up a record 38 percent of NBA rosters.

The Development League’s representation at the 2015 Summer Leagues, which serve as an extended tryout for many, is even higher.

On opening day in Las Vegas, 43% of players (143 of 329) on Samsung NBA Summer League rosters have NBA D-League experience.

Of the 23 NBA teams playing in Vegas, the Sacramento Kings lead all teams with nine NBADL players on their roster.  The NBA D-League Select Team is comprised of 12 top prospects from the 2014-15 season.

At the Orlando and Utah Summer Leagues this past week, 40% (85/211) of the players participating had NBA D-League experience.
