The NBA G League is in full swing now and players are starting to make names for themselves in the league and in the NBA. Here are the two-way players who grabbed headlines with their NBA G League affiliates this past week.

Thunder: Daniel Hamilton records league-leading seventh triple-double of the season
In the Oklahoma City Blue’s 115-108 victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Hamilton notched yet another triple-double, dropping 16 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists. After putting together a triple-double line of 15 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists just two games prior, Hamilton now has a league-leading seven on the year. The Thunder two-way player is third in the NBA G League in assists with 8.1 per game, while averaging 15.9 points and 9.4 rebounds as well in his 22 games with the Blue this season.
Celtics: Jabari Bird drops 30 points
In the Maine Red Claws’ first game back from the holiday break, Boston Celtics two-way player Jabari Bird became a focal point in the 111-101 victory over the Lakeland Magic on Dec. 31. Bird, who is averaging 21.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 17 games with Maine this season, shot lights out vs. the Magic. He was 12-for-17 from the field (70.6 percent), including 4-for-7 (57.1 percent) from 3-point land. Bird also corralled seven rebounds and dished out three assists.
Raptors: Lorenzo Brown boasts balanced attack
Brown continued his balanced point guard play with back-to-back well-rounded performances for the Raptors 905 to close out December. Brown had a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists in the 905’s 123-104 win over the Windy City Bulls, which was followed up with a near miss on a triple-double (23 points, nine assists and eight rebounds) in the 905’s 93-78 victory over the Austin Spurs the following day. Brown is now averaging 20.5 points, 8.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds in 13 games with the 905.
Jazz: Erik McCree heats up in first four games with Stars
McCree, who was just signed by the Utah Jazz to a two-way contract on Dec. 21, has been tearing it up for Salt Lake City. In just four games with the team, he’s averaging 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals for the Stars. In his most recent game, against the South Bay Lakers on Dec. 30, McCree put up 21 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists. He’s now averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17 games at the NBA G League level this season.
Bucks: Joel Bolomboy throws down ferocious jam
Bolomboy, who is on a two-way deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, threw down a posterizing slam dunk in the Wisconsin Herd’s 139-119 victory over the Canton Charge on Dec. 30. Bolomboy who finished the game with 18 points and 10 rebounds is averaging a double-double of 14.8 points and 10.9 rebounds in eight games at the G League level this year.
