OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 15, 2024 – The Oklahoma City Blue (11-3) defeated the Austin Spurs (9-5), 117-95, on Sunday afternoon at Paycom Center.
The Blue trailed at halftime before responding in the second half by connecting on 62.2% of its field goal attempts and outscoring the Spurs 69-46 in the half to cruise to the 22-point victory.
“We played hard for a full 48 minutes and everyone had an impact in one way or another,” Head Coach Kameron Woods said. “We are looking forward to heading to Orlando and competing in the Winter Showcase Tournament.”
Jahmi’us Ramsey tallied 24 points off the bench for the Blue while teammate Buddy Boeheim also scored 24 points as he knocked down seven three-pointers. Javonte Cooke added 16 points, nine boards and five assists in the win.
Austin was led by Riley Minix who tallied a game-high 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Next up, Oklahoma City heads to the G League Winter Showcase, with game details to be announced later.
