<p>The NBA&#8217;s official minor league, the NBA G League prepares players, coaches, officials, trainers and front office staff for the NBA while acting as the league&#8217;s research and development laboratory. Featuring 31 teams, 30 with direct affiliations to NBA franchises for 2024-25, the league offers elite professional basketball at an affordable price in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. This season, teams will compete in the innovative Tip-Off Tournament, a 14-game competition culminating at the 2024 NBA G League Winter Showcase presented by The General Insurance from Dec. 19-22 in Orlando, FL. After the Winter Showcase, team records will reset and a 34-game regular season will begin with teams split up into Eastern and Western Conferences. The NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google Pixel commence in April and will conclude with the NBA G League Finals presented by YouTube TV.</p>
