STOCKTON, Calif.,&nbsp;March 19, 2023&nbsp;–&nbsp;NBA G League Ignite (11-19) fell to the Stockton Kings (23-7), 120-90, on Sunday at Stockton Arena in Stockton, Calif.



Eric Mika&nbsp;led the way for Ignite after finishing with 16 points, five rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes of action.&nbsp;Mojave King&nbsp;recorded a double-double after being inserted into the starting lineup with 15 points and 10 rebounds.&nbsp;London Johnson&nbsp;added 14 points, while&nbsp;Cameron Young&nbsp;tallied 12 points, four rebounds and two assists.



The Kings were paced by Trey Burke, who had a game-high 24 points with eight assists on 10-of-15 shots from the field, including 4-of-8 from behind the arc. Alex O’Connell followed closely with 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jeriah Horne pitched in 19 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Chance Comanche finished with 14 points and eight rebounds.



The Kings built a 20-point lead in the first half en route to taking a 66-49 advantage at the halfway mark. Trey Burke, of the Kings, scored 14 of his 24 points in the first half on 6-of-10 shots from the field, including 2-of-5 from the three-point line. The Kings outscored Ignite 36-13 from points off the bench to take control early in the game. Jeriah Horne led the Kings off the bench with 11 points while shooting 3-of-5 from behind the arc in that span. Ignite struggled to slow down Stockton, as the Kings shot 59.1 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from the three-point line in the first half.



The Kings maintained its lead throughout the second half after continuing its stellar offensive performance to coast to the victory. Alex O’Connell scored 11 of his 20 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the field, including 3-of-4 from the three-point line in the second half. Ignite never found a rhythm from behind the arc after shooting 3-of-17 from the three-point line. The Kings’ bench was the deciding factor in the game after recording 63 points compared to Ignite’s 33 points.
