OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Wisconsin Herd (3-1), the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, wrapped up its four-game road trip with a 106-102 win against the Reno Bighorns (1-2).
The Bighorns got out to a 17-point lead in the first quarter (32-15) with Reggie Hearn scoring 12 points early in the game. He finished the night with 19 points and eight rebounds in 35 minutes for Reno.
The Herd battled back to secure a 63-57 lead at the half. The game saw 12 lead changes and nine ties. Xavier Munford’s free throws at the 13 second mark in the fourth quarter gave the Herd a four point lead and helped solidify the victory.
Munford finished the night posting 31 points, a new high for the Herd, and was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. He added six assists, six rebounds and three steals over 32 minutes. The Herd had four additional players score in double digits.
