OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Wisconsin Herd (14-8), the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, wrapped up its four-game road trip with a 139-119 victory against the Canton Charge (8-12) at The Canton Memorial Civic Center. The first game in a home-and-home series, the Herd will host the Charge on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh.
The score was tied at 32 points after the first 12 minutes. Wisconsin posted 45 points in the second quarter to pull ahead and secure a 10 point advantage at the half (77-67). The Herd maintained momentum — and the lead — for the remainder of the game.
Wisconsin claimed its largest margin of victory (20 points) off of its most efficient field goal shooting (58.1 percent) to date. James Young led all scorers with 31 points and nine rebounds in 36 minutes. Young shot 11-of-14 from the field and 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Joel Bolomboy notched his fifth double-double of the season for the Herd, posting 18 points and securing 10 rebounds.
Cleveland Cavaliers Two-Way player London Perrantes finished with 25 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Canton. Arthur Edwards added 24 points in 34 minutes from the bench.
