OSHKOSH, Wis. (Feb. 1, 2018) – The Wisconsin Herd (17-16), the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, secured a 108-99 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (19-14).
Fort Wayne held the advantage through the first three periods, leading by as many as 16 points. Wisconsin secured its first lead of the game with 4:20 remaining in the fourth quarter off a 20-foot jump shot by Joel Bolomboy. The Herd outscored the Mad Ants 64-41 in the second half.
Bolomboy led all scorers with 24 points and added seven rebounds in 34 minutes. JeQuan Lewis did not miss a shot, going 6-of-6 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Lewis tallied 18 points, dished out seven assists and notched three steals in 31 minutes. Former Indiana Hoosier James Blackmon Jr. posted 15 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes.
Walter Lemon Jr. led the Mad Ants with 22 points and seven rebounds. On a rehab assignment from the Indiana Pacers, Glenn Robinson III notched 12 points, three assists and two rebounds in 27 minutes.
The Herd hosts the Memphis Hustle at Menominee Nation Arena on Saturday, Feb. 3. The game is a projected sellout.
