MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — The Delaware Blue Coats (1-4) earned their first victory of the season Saturday, defeating Raptors 905 126-111 at Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
Delaware was led by Shake Milton’s 33-point, 10-rebound effort and Philadelphia 76ers assignee Jonah Bolden’s 12-point, 14-rebound double-double.
The Raptors 905 were paced by Kay Felder who recorded 23 points and six assists in defeat.
The game opened with the 905 jumping out to an early 35-27 lead after the opening 12 minutes of play, bolstered by Duane Notice and his nine points in the frame. After the first quarter, Delaware slowly took control of the game, beginning with a 37-25 second quarter that sent the visitors into half-time leading 64-60.
The Blue Coats expanded their lead in the third quarter, putting the game out of reach for Raptors 905, and earning its first win of the season.
