Raptors 905 (9-3) defeated the Grand Rapids Drive (5-6) 106-91 Sunday afternoon.
The 905 were led by the trio of Deng Adel, Chris Boucher and Jordan Loyd, who recorded 79 of the team’s 106 points.
Loyd scored a game-high 30 points, Boucher recorded 29 points and a game-high 19 rebounds, while Deng Adel continued his strong play scoring 20 points.
Shep Garner led the Drive with 17 points and five rebounds while both Zach Lofton and Johnny Hamilton added 15 points for Grand Rapids.
The first quarter was dominated by the Drive as they out-scored the 905 by 14 points. Midway through the second quarter, the momentum shifted in favour of the 905, as the team made an 8-0 run to cut the 17-point deficit to nine.
The 905 continued to chip away at the lead in the quarter, and head into halftime trailing by just two points.
Out of the break, the 905 responded with a 29-15 third quarter effort that ultimately kept the lead in the hands of the 905 for the remainder of the game.
The 905 will host the Iowa Wolves at Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday, December 5 at 11 a.m. The Drive continue their road trip against the Memphis Hustle on Tuesday, December 4 at 8 p.m.
