The Austin Spurs (14-18), presented by SWBC, fell to the Stockton Kings (19-11), 132-116, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park Sunday afternoon.
Two-way player Drew Eubanks led scoring with the first 30-point performance (11-13 FG) of his career, adding six rebounds and three blocks. Ben Moore contributed 17 points (6-9 FG) and a game-high-tying eight rebounds.
The Kings began to build their lead by outscoring the Spurs 37-20 in the first quarter. The Silver and Black fought back in the second, briefly diminishing the Stockton lead to single-digits, but the Kings would go on to lead 72-53 at the half.
The Kings held their lead in the second half, extending their advantage to as many as 30 points. The Spurs were never able to reduce the deficit below double-digits.
For Stockton, Matt Jones paced scoring with 26 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 3 FG). Marcus Williams contributed a double-double of 16 points and 17 assists.
