The Iowa Wolves (10-23) ended their seven-game losing skid Friday evening, defeating the South Bay Lakers (12-21) 134-97 in front of the home crowd.
The 37-point win was the team’s largest margin of victory this season.
Marquise Moore delivered his first career triple-double, recording 18 points, a game-high 15 rebounds and a game-high 12 assists.
Darius Johnson-Odom led all scorers with a 32-point performance while adding six rebounds and five assists to his final line. The former Los Angeles Laker shot 12-of-16 from the field, including 4-of-6 from deep.
Six players finished in double figures for the Wolves in the win. As a team Iowa shot 55.3% from the floor and 45.5% (15-of-33) from beyond the arc.
Xavier Silas saw his first action for the Wolves since Dec. 7, tallying 18 points in just 17 minutes while shooting exclusively from deep, finishing 5-of-8 from distance.
The Wolves led for all but 10 minutes of Friday night’s game in a dominate showing on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Iowa held South to just 37.9% shooting from the floor and 21.2% from the three-point line.
Marcus Allen led South Bay with a season-high 23 points. Three other Lakes joined him in double figures.
