MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Raptors 905 (28-18) clinched its third straight playoff berth with a 112-82 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (20-25) Monday night.
Jordan Loyd led all scorers with a 24-point, 12-assist, 10-rebound triple-double, while Wade Baldwin IV contributed 23 points to the 905 victory. Derek Cooke Jr. collected his seventh straight double-double and 11th in his last 12 games, recording 16 points and 15 rebounds.
The Mad Ants were led by assignee Alize Johnson who recorded a 16-point, 15-rebound double-double. Rob Gray led all Fort Wayne scorers with 19 points.
Fort Wayne jumped out to a five-point lead in the first quarter, but were unable to keep up with the 905 in the second quarter, who outscored the Mad Ants 36-21 to take the lead and control of the game. The 905 were edged by the Mad Ants in the third quarter but responded with a 31-10 fourth quarter to seal the victory.
