MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — Raptors 905 (22-21) defeated the College Park Skyhawks (20-23) 129-116 Wednesday night at Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Tyler Ennis led all scorers with 22 points, while teammates Oshae Brissett (21 points, 14 rebounds) and Devin Robinson (12 points, 12 rebounds) recorded double-doubles in the victory.The Skyhawks were paced by Cat Barber who scored 20 points, and also received 19-point contributions from Tajhere McCall and Mark Ogden Jr. in defeat.
The 905 opened the game with an offensive outburst, racking up 38 points to the Skyhawks 24 in the opening 12 minutes of play. Brissett scored 13 points in the first, while the 905 as a team converted .500 from the field. College Park answered back in the second quarter, outscoring the 905 by the same margin, 37-23, led by McCall and his quarter-high 12 points. The two teams head into the break deadlocked at 61 points apiece.
Ennis owned the third quarter for a second straight game, playing 12 minutes and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor. His efforts gave the 905 a 33-28 advantage in the period and a five-point lead to start the final quarter of play. College Park battled back in the fourth, regaining the lead at multiple points, but the 905 utilized a 9-0 run late in the quarter to seal its fourth straight victory.
