ORLANDO, FL – The Iowa Wolves (0-8) lost to the Oklahoma City Blue (7-1), by a score of 128-122 today at AdventHealth Arena.
The Blue held the advantage most of the first half, leading by as many as 17. Oklahoma City had five players in double figures headed into halftime with the 74-61 advantage over Iowa. Moses Brown led the Blue at halftime with 12 points, while Lindell Wigginton led Iowa with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
Iowa came out strong in the third quarter, led by 13 points from Charlie Brown, Jr. in the first 8:00 of the quarter. Iowa took the 100-99 lead to start the fourth quarter.
Iowa battled, but couldn’t keep the lead in the fourth, trading baskets with the Blue and eventually falling 122-128 to Oklahoma City.
Lindell Wigginton led all Iowa scorers with 28 points. Charlie Brown, Jr. finished with a season-high 20 points and 9 rebounds. Tyler Cook and Isaiah Briscoe contributed 26 points and 25 points respectively. Wigginton and Briscoe tied to lead the team with 7 assists each.
Moses Brown finished with a team-leading double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds for Oklahoma City.
