SIOUX FALLS — Behind a season-high 37 assists, the Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Oklahoma City Blue 117-106 on Saturday night from the Sanford Pentagon.
The victory marked the first time this season three-or-more Force (14-18) players have had five-plus assists (Mario Chalmers with eight, Javonte Smart with seven and Brandon Knight with five). The team has also shot over 50-percent from the field in two of the last three games (50 percent tonight on 46-92 FGA).
Micah Potter posted 23 points on 9-16 FGA and 19 rebounds. It marked the third time this season Potter has secured 15-plus rebounds in a game.
Chandler Hutchison secured a G League career-high 21 points on 8-14 FGA, four rebounds and four assists in the victory.
Jahmi’us Ramsey led OKC (14-18) in scoring with 21 points on 9-22 FGA off the bench. Rob Edwards and Zavier Simpson combined for 31 points in the loss.
Sam Thompson led the Skyforce off the bench with 12 points on 5-8 FGA and four rebounds. Sioux Falls moves to 9-1 this season when Thompson scores in double figures.
Both teams sit two games back of the final Western Conference playoff spot and meet again, tomorrow, at 3:00 PM CST in the Force’s regular season home finale.
