NEW YORK CITY, NY — While Steph Curry will be facing what many are calling the best field in the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest ever, the likes of Kyrie Irving, James Harden and Klay Thompson are not the only sharpshooters that he’ll be competing against this weekend.
The NBA MVP candidate will also be trying to defeat his brother, Seth, who is participating in the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Three-Point Contest on Sunday (2PM ET, YouTube).

“We have a little friendly bet going tonight and me tomorrow to see who makes the most altogether,” Seth said. “I’m not going to disclose the terms, but he says I have a little advantage because I get to see what he does tonight and then I have to beat him tomorrow.”
The younger brother also has the advantage (at least in terms of numbers) when it comes to 3-point percentage. Seth is hitting 48.4 percent of his threes this year while Steph hits 40.4 percent (see below). The older brother, however, has an experience advantage since Seth says that he’s never been in an official Three-Point contest before.
The two, however, square off against each other in shooting battles in the offseason.
“Every summer we work out together and in the workouts you have different objectives with shooting and it’s always competitive,” Seth said. “A different guy wins every time.”
