Heat Sign Jamaree Bouyea To Two-Way Contract

Your Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed guard Jamaree Bouyea to a two-way contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bouyea, who was previously signed by the HEAT to a 10-day contract on February 8, appeared in 22 games (all starts) with Miami’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, last season and averaged 18.6 points, 6.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 1.32 steals, 1.00 blocks and 34.6 minutes while shooting 55 percent from the field. He was just one of three G League players to average at least 18 points, five assists, five rebounds and shoot at least 55 percent from the field. He led the team in blocks and finished second in assists and free throws made while helping the Skyforce to the Western Conference Finals. He posted a 27-point, 13-assist, 10-rebound triple-double at Wisconsin on November 26, becoming just the second Skyforce player to record a triple-double since the 2018-19 season. In 16 Showcase games, he was the only player to average at least 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two steals. Additionally, he appeared in four games with the HEAT last season, totaling 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks while also appearing in one game with Washington on a 10-day contract with the Wizards, grabbing a rebound in 5:32 minutes of action.
Bouyea played his entire collegiate career at the University of San Francisco, appearing in 160 games (105 starts), finishing as the school’s all-time leader in games played and wins while finishing third in assists and steals and fifth in points and field goals made. In his final season, he started all 34 games and averaged 17.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.82 steals and 36.2 minutes. He earned All-WCC First Team honors and was named to the NABC All-District First Team. He ranked third in the conference in scoring and led the team inpoints, assists, steals, field goals made and free throws made. He scored in double-figures in all but five games, including a career-high 36 points in the final game against Murray State in the NCAA Tournament.
