BROOKLYN, NY — There wasn’t much drama as he went to attempt his last dunk, but Rio Grande Valley’s Jarvis Threatt put an exclamation point on his victory in the Boost Mobile Slam Dunk Contest anyway with a through-the-legs windmill dunk that earned him a perfect score of 50 and the roar of the crowd and judges.
Threatt defeated Westchester’s Thanasis Antetokounmpo in the finals of the Dunk Contest on Sunday at Barclays Center as a part of Boost Mobile Dream Factory.
Threatt and Antetokounmpo were joined by Canton’s Kevin Olekaibe and Texas’ Eric Griffin. The four high-flyers put on a show for the lively crowd during halftime of the NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire. See below for the best aerial acrobatics of the night.
