Legends Acquire Draft Picks In Trade With Rip City

FRISCO, TX, (Jan. 11, 2024) – The Texas Legends have acquired a 1st and 2nd round pick in the 2024 NBA G League Draft in a trade with the Rip City Remix. In exchange, Texas sends Taze Moore.
Moore (6-5, 195, Houston) was drafted by the Legends with the 9th overall pick in the 2022 G League Draft. He played 39 games (24 starts) as a rookie, averaging 10.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.3 steals. Moore joined the Mavericks this past summer for NBA Summer League, seeing action in 5 games and tallying 7.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 17.4 minutes per game. He returned to the Legends this season and played 19 games (5 starts) averaging 9.0 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.4 steals.
