PORTLAND, Maine – August 24, 2017 – The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to Bryce Cotton and a 2nd Round selection in the 2017 NBA G League Draft in a three-team trade.
The trade, which took place between Maine, Santa Cruz and Agua Caliente, sends Cotton and the draft pick from Agua Caliente to Maine, while Maine traded the returning player rights to Damion Lee to Santa Cruz.

Cotton, a 6-1 guard, has played in 23 career NBA games between Utah, Memphis and Phoenix, averaging 3.8 points per game for his career. He last played in the NBA G League in 2015-16 for Austin, and played overseas last season.
Lee played for the Red Claws last season, averaging 17.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in 16 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
