Nik Stauskas Named G League Player Of The Week

Grand Rapids Gold guard Nik Stauskas has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Feb. 28 through Sunday, March 6.  The eighth overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft averaged 50.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists, leading Grand Rapids to a 2-0 week.   Stauskas poured in a franchise-record 57 points in the Gold’s 131-127 win over the Wisconsin Herd on March 1, and followed it up with 43 points in its 124-119 victory against the Lakeland Magic on March 2.
