The Grand Rapids Drive tabbed a familiar name with the 19th pick of the second round of Sunday’s NBA D-League Draft.
NBA vet Shannon Brown heads to the Pistons’ affiliate to begin his push for a return trip to the Association. The 30-year-old has played for eight NBA teams and three NBA D-League teams and last appeared with the Miami Heat in 2014.

Brown’s most notable seasons came in L.A. and Phoenix, as he emerged as one of the most athletic guards in the league and participated in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
