USA Basketball, led by their 11 NBA G League alums, took down Panama in the second round of FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, 78-48. USA Basketball outscored Panama in the fourth quarter, 21-10, en route to a 30-point victory led by Grand Rapids Drive alum Reggie Hearn’s 12 points.

USA Basketball outscored Panama, 36-23 in the first half, limiting their opponent to just seven points in the first quarter. Grand Rapids Drive alum Henry Ellenson posted a near double-double, notching 6 points and 11 rebounds in 22 minutes of action. USA Basketball forced 17 turnovers leading to 19 points and outrebounded Panama, 50-34.
USA Basketball was dominant on the interior all night, outscoring Panama in points in the paint, 38-16, and in second chance points, 11-4. Five different players scored at least 8 points including Travis Trice (8), Ben Moore (8), Jameel Warney (8), Dwayne Bacon (10 and Reggie Hearn (12). USA Basketball is set to resume the second round of FIBA World Cup Qualifications on November 29 with a road game against Argentina.
