Below is the playoff format for the 2021-22 NBA G League season: This season's playoff format will feature four rounds and 12 total teams, the six top teams from the Eastern Conference and the six top teams from the Western Conference. The top two teams from each conference will receive a bye into the second round. The playoffs will begin with three single-elimination rounds before culminating with a best-of-three NBA G League Finals, which will be played in a one-one-one format. Note: NBA G League Ignite and Mexico City Capitanes competed in the Showcase Cup, but did not take part in the 36-game regular season and, therefore, are not playoff eligible.
