NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T

The NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T will take place during NBA All-Star 2026 on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. PT in Los Angeles and will air on the NBA Channel and NBA App from 11:30 a.m. PT to 1:30 p.m. PT (2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET). The NBA Channel is available free on Roku, Samsung, Tubi, Pluto, Fire TV, Prime Video, Xumo, Fubo, Xfinity, DirecTV, and DISH. The game will be played at NBA Crossover inside the Los Angeles Convention Center and will feature a four-team, tournament-style format showcasing some of the NBA G League’s most exciting players.

NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk

The NBA G League announced the four players who will be participating in 2026 NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. Motor City Cruise forward John Ukomadu will return to the event after participating in last year's contest. He is joined by Mark Armstrong of the Texas Legends, Gabe McGlothan of the Noblesville Boom and RJ Meléndez of the Mexico City Capitanes.

NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk features 4 players competing for the crown of the G’s top dunker. Participants will have 60 seconds to record one dunk and receive scores from a panel of five judges. The event will feature two rounds with the two players receiving the highest score from Round 1 advancing to a head-to-head final round. The 2026 NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk will take place after the 2026 NBA G League State Farm 3-Point Contest on Saturday, Feb. 14 at NBA Crossover at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT in Los Angeles and will air on the NBA Channel. International viewers can watch the event on the NBA App.


NBA G League State Farm 3-Point Contest

The NBA G League announced the four players who will be participating in the 2026 NBA G League State Farm 3-Point Contest during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. The four contestants are James Bouknight of the Mexico City Capitanes, Blake Hinson of the Rip City Remix, Ethan Thompson of the Noblesville Boom and Jahmir Young of the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

The NBA G League State Farm 3-Point Contest features the G’s premier shooters showcasing their prowess from deep. Using a format similar to the NBA, players will move around the arc to five preset ball racks with bonus deep shots available. The top two scorers from the first round will face off in a final round to determine the G League’s top 3-point shooter. The 2026 NBA G League State Farm 3-Point Contest will take place before the 2026 NBA G League AT&T Slam Dunk on Saturday, Feb. 14 at NBA Crossover at 2:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. PT in Los Angeles and will air on the NBA Channel. International viewers can watch the event on the NBA App.

2025 NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T

Team Braxton emerged victorious in the 2025 NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T, besting Team EYL and Team Swish Cultures to earn the crown. College Park Skyhawks guard Kevon Harris was named 2025 NBA G League Up Next Game MVP after scoring 13 points in the championship game against Team Swish Cultures.

Team Swish Cultures defeated Team Strictly BBall in the first Semifinal, 35-34, with Westchester Knicks center Moses Brown scoring 12 points and Mexico City Capitanes guard Dink Pate adding 6 points and 2 assists for the winners. Memphis Hustle forward Maozinha Pereira led the way for Team Strictly BBall, finishing with 14 points on a perfect 6-of-6 from the field.

Team Braxton defeated the defending champions Team Earn Your Leisure in the second Semifinal, as XBA legend Cao Fang pulled up for a jumper over Trevelin Queen to clinch a 36-32 win. Raptors 905 wing A.J. Lawson led Team Braxton in scoring with 11 points to go with Fang's 8 points, while Capital City Go-Go guard Jaylen Nowell (11 points) and Osceola Magic guard Trevelin Queen (10 points) both scored in double figures for Team Earn Your Leisure.

In the championship game, Harris led the war to a 30-26 victory to earn MVP honors, finishing with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. Stockton Kings forward Isaac Jones and Grand Rapids Gold guard Jahmir Young both scored 6 points to chip in for the win. Birmingham Squadron guard Lester Quinones led Team Swish Cultures with 14 points in the loss.

2025 AT&T NBA G League Slam Dunk Contest

Oklahoma City Blue guard Logan Johnson was crowned the champion of the 2025 AT&T G League Slam Dunk during NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco. He was joined in the competition by Jordan Jackson of the Windy City Bulls, John Ukomadu of the Motor City Cruise, and Alondes Williams of the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Johnson and Williams advanced to the final round, where Johnson ultimately won the overall title.

What is the NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T?

Who will participate in the game?

Twenty-eight players will compete in the NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T. Ten players will be selected by fan vote, with the remaining 18 chosen by the NBA G League.

What is the format of the game?

Coaches from the 2025 NBA G League Winter Showcase champion Salt Lake City Stars and the San Diego Clippers (the LA Clippers’ G League affiliate) will draft the teams from a pool of 28 players and serve as head coaches. Four teams of seven players will compete in two semifinal games, followed by a championship game. The event will use a format similar to NBA Rising Stars, with semifinal games played to 35 points and the championship game played to 30 points.

Is there a fan vote?

Yes. Fans can vote for their favorite NBA G League players on the NBA G League app or at NBAGLeague.com/vote. Voting opens Friday, Jan. 9, at 3 p.m. ET and closes Friday, Jan. 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Updates will be shared regularly on the NBA G League website and social media channels.

Which players can I vote for?

Eligible players include all NBA G League contract players currently on team rosters and NBA Two-Way players who have appeared in at least one NBA G League game. NBA contract players who have played in the G League on assignment are not eligible.

How many players can I vote for?

Fans may vote for up to five players per ballot: three frontcourt players (forwards and centers) and two backcourt players (guards). There is no limit to the number of ballots a fan may submit; however, a new ballot must be completed for each entry.

How can I attend the game?

Fans can attend the NBA G League Next Up Game presented by AT&T by purchasing general admission tickets to NBA Crossover. Tickets start at $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available at NBAEvents.com and through the NBA Events App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Seating for the game is unassigned and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

2024 NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T

The 2024 event, the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T, was a four-team tournament held in Indianapolis with teams drafted and managed by four different influencer general managers. Team Earn Your Leisure ultimately beat Team Ball Is Life in the championship game, 30-21, to take home the title. Osceola Magic guard Trevelin Queen was named MVP.


2023 NBA G League Next Up Game

The 2023 event, the NBA G League Next Up Game, was a two-team game held in Salt Lake City with teams drafted and managed by two player captains. Iowa Wolves center Luka Garza, the leader in fan voting, was the captain of Team Luka, and top 2024 NBA Draft prospect and G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson was the captain of Team Scoot. Team Luka ultimately beat Team Scoot, 178-162. Garza was named MVP.


2022 NBA G League Next Gem Game

The 2022 event, the NBA G League Next Gem Game, was game held in Cleveland between the host Cleveland Charge and the G League Ignite. The Charge ultimately beat Ignite, 96-92. Charge guard Malik Newman led all scorers with 30 points.
