WILMINGTON – JANUARY 6 – The Delaware Blue Coats (2-3) fell to the Greensboro Swarm (1-3) 118-113 on Friday night at Chase Fieldhouse.



The Swarm picked up their first victory of the regular season with a 27-point performance from Kai Jones. Jones also added nine rebounds, four steals and four blocks.



Theo Maledon also added 23 points and 13 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.



Michael Foster Jr. led the way for the Blue Coats, dropping 18 points while also grabbing 14 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Julian Champagnie also recorded a double-double dropping 12 points and grabbing 11 boards in 26 minutes of play.



Philadelphia 76ers assignment player Jaden Springer added 14 points on 6-18 shooting while also recording four steals in 28 minutes of play.



The Blue Coats and Swarm will meet again on Sunday at Chase Fieldhouse, tip-off is slated for 3:00 p.m.
