The Westchester Knicks with three players on assignment from the New York Knicks (Jericho Sims, Miles McBride, and DaQuan Jeffries) fall short in the battle of New York. Both teams in the first quarter went back and forth providing the fans with plenty of jaw dropping moments but second quarter shooting woes put the Knicks in an uphill battle for the remainder of the game. The Knicks produced a mere 13 points of offense against the Nets in the second quarter on 18.2% (4-22) shooting from the field and 14.3% (2-14) from three. Long Island would go on to take their largest lead of 16 in the third quarter. The Knicks would rally back to as much as 6 points late in the fourth with strong play from Brandon Goodwin (26 points and 8 assists) and DaQuan Jeffries (23 points and 6 rebounds) but the Long Island Nets were able to answer every push from the Knicks. Jalen Wilson led the Nets with 20 points and Kennedy Chandler with 18 points and 4 assists. Noah Clowney provided a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
