GRAND RAPIDS, MI (March 12, 2023) – The Grand Rapids Gold (7-20) faced a tough loss to the Raptors 905 (14-12) after an intense battle that had 13 lead changes and 12 ties. With less than 20 seconds left in the fourth, Trevon Duval pushed the ball down court to secure an easy layup, pushing the score to 119-all but a clutch bucket by Toronto two-way player Jeff Dowtin Jr. to advance the score to 121-119 leaving Grand Rapids with only 1.4 seconds to tie the game. A missed layup by Grand Rapids in the final second secured the W for the 905.&nbsp;



Nuggets assignment Peyton Watson dominated the floor with a game-high 37 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, while shooting 14-23 from the field. Guard Trevon Duval was electric, earning 22 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds. Nuggets two-way player Jack White was effective on both ends of the court adding 22 points and 9 rebounds to the mix. Big man Grant Golden tallied a strong double-double with 14 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds. Kellan Grady followed up with 13 points.&nbsp;



Toronto Raptors two-way player Jeff Dowtin Jr. led the Raptors with 24 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Sterling Brown contributed 21 points, 9 assists,&nbsp; 9 rebounds and 2 steals. Joe Wieskamp recorded 21 points and 4 rebounds.
