EL SEGUNDO, Calif., November 26th, 2024 – The South Bay Lakers (2-4) defeat the San Diego Clippers (4-2) 95 to 85.



A back and forth first quarter ended with the South Bay Lakers taking a 12-point lead behind a 21-7 run fueled by Kylor Kelley’s eight points. The Clippers responded with a 16-5 run, led by Nate Darling and Elijah Harkless, cutting the Lakers&#8217; lead to one point midway through the second quarter. At halftime, the Lakers maintained a six-point advantage, with both Tosan Evbuomwan and Kylor Kelley leading their team with 12 points each.  A fast-paced third quarter ended with the Lakers holding a three-point lead with RayJ Dennis scoring seven points in the quarter. The Lakers extended their lead behind strong performances from Maxwell Lewis and Armel Traore, which led to the Lakers defeating the Clippers 95 to 85.



RayJ Dennis led the Clippers with 18 points and shot 4 of 9 from three-point range. Tosan Evbuomwan notched 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting from the field. Braxton Key recorded his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.



Five players scored in double figures and were led by Maxwell Lewis’ 18 points.  Armel Traore recorded a double-double with 17 points and 22 rebounds.
