A Look At The G League's Premium Lounge Spaces

Many sports fans preach that the best way to enjoy basketball is by sitting courtside, but these NBA G League teams have taken the premium lounge game to the next level. Check out some of our top picks for unique, elite experiences throughout the G League during the 2022-23 season.
The Delaware Blue Coats offer two different packages for people of different tastes, the Beer Garden Suite and the Chaddsford Winery Suite. The Beer Garden Suite comes with an endless nacho bar, a Varsity Brew koozie, and the first beer is even included. The winery suite includes an endless bread and cheese board, a Gameday souvenir, and a glass of wine. Both suites can accommodate up to 30 guests. As one of the most talked about promotions of the NBA G League season, the Cleveland Charge launched their Baseline Beach Bar in February 2023. The section includes a one-of-a-kind experience with Adirondack chairs, tiki-style bars, and Astroturf “sand” around high-top tables. Tickets to the section even included two complimentary drinks, and they attracted attention from local media and influencers around the unique experience. The Motor City Cruise have three different food and beverage packages as part of their Party Decks, which are two large, open-air suites overlooking their court. They offer a full cookout-themed buffet featuring hotdogs, cheeseburgers and other traditional barbeque foods, a pizza buffet, and a pasta buffet with a pasta bar and option for add-on food items and alcohol. The prices range from $35 - $40 per person, and this area is often used for birthday parties, company excursions, and other group outings. The Capital City Go-Go have their 202 Courtside Lounge, named after the area code of the District of Columbia. The 202 Courtside Lounge, presented by Ticketmaster, features couches, all-inclusive beer and wine, and bottomless popcorn and chips. They offer both a semi-private experience for more than 20 people, where you can mix and mingle with other lounge-goers, or an exclusive experience where groups can buyout the lounge for 40-50 people. At Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, the Iowa Wolves offer multiple different premium experiences, from floor level views and luxury furniture in the Slumberland Lounge, courtside all-inclusive food and beverage in a Corner Lounge, or a fully customizable event in their Business Zone or Loft.
