Atlanta Hawks Sign Forward Miles Norris To Two-Way Contract

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Hawks have signed forward Miles Norris to a two-way contract, the team announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Norris appeared in 117 NCAA Division I games throughout his five-year collegiate career (88 starts), averaging 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 25.4 minutes of play (.480 FG%, .367 3FG%, .772 FT%). The 6-10 forward suited up for UC Santa Barbara (2020-23), City College of San Francisco (2019-20), and the University of Oregon (2018-19).
He saw action in 35 games (all starts) with UC Santa Barbara during the 2022-23 campaign, tallying career highs in points (14.1), rebounds (6.1), steals (1.1), and minutes (33.5). Named to the 2023 All-Big West Second Team, Norris’ 6.1 rebounds per game were the 10th-most in the Big West last season.
Prior to his three seasons at UC Santa Barbara, the San Diego, California native spent the 2019-20 season at City College of San Francisco, leading the team to a perfect 30-0 record, a Coast Conference North title, and the Northern California Community College championship. He was named the California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year and selected as the Coast Conference North Player of the Year.
Norris began his collegiate career at the University of Oregon where he helped the Ducks to a 2019 Pac-12 Tournament title and an appearance in the Sweet 16. A four-star recruit, Norris played his final season of high school basketball at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, claiming the 2018 New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class AAA regular season championship.
