2021 Winter Showcase Day 4 Recap: No. 1 Blue Coats Win Championship!

College Park Skyhawks defeated Texas Legends, 141-89

Cat Barber's triple-double highlighted College Park's dominating win over Texas, as he tallied 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Justin Tillman had a game-high 24 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, while teammate Johnny Hamilton notched 18 points and 16 rebounds. Uchenna Iroegbu and Ibi Watson both scored 17 points apiece for the Skyhawks. Watson and Jordan Sibert drilled 10 combined threes. Brandon Fields led the way for the Legends, recording 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Iowa Wolves defeated Greensboro Swarm, 113-101

Brandon Sampson and Isaiah Miller both had games of 20+ points to lead the Wolves to the victory. A trio of Wolves recorded double-doubles: Brian Bowen (19 PTS, 14 REB), Vincent Edwards (14 PTS, 10 REB), and Jordy Tshimanga (13 PTS, 10 REB). Greensboro was paced by Xavier Sneed's 19 points and Jalen Crutcher's five three-pointers.

Championship Game: No. 1 Delaware Blue Coats defeat . No. 6 Oklahoma City Blue, 104-96

Jarrod Cumberland's 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and five three-pointers earned him AT&T Winter Showcase Most Valuable Player honors as the Blue Coats took home the trophy and $100K cash prize. Braxton Key paced Delaware with a game-high 28 points while pulling down 11 rebounds as well. Jared Brownridge dropped 20 points and drilled four triples in the win. Rob Edwards capped off a solid AT&T Winter Showcase, scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds for the Blue. Zavier Simpson and Melvin Frazier Jr. scored 19 and 17 points, respectively.

6 PM ET: Agua Caliente Clippers defeated Long Island Nets, 102-95

A trio of 20+ point performances paced the Clippers to the win. Nate Darling (28 PTS, 5 REB), Xavier Moon (27 PTS, 9 REB, 7 AST), and Keaton Wallace (22 PTS, 7 REB) led Agua Caliente to the win to cap off their stay in Las Vegas. Bryce Brown dropped 36 points on an efficient 14-19 shooting for the Nets.

8 PM ET: Salt Lake City Stars defeated Lakeland Magic, 124-104 

Six Stars players scored in double-figures to help propel Salt Lake City to a dominant victory over the Magic. SLC was led by Carsen Edwards (24 PTS) and Derrick Alston Jr. (23 PTS). They shot nearly 40% from three-point range with 18 makes. The Magic were led by TJ Haws who scored a season-high 25 points while adding 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

9 PM ET: Stockton Kings defeated the Cleveland Charge, 108-104

After trailing by double-digits in the fourth quarter, the Kings went on a furious rally to earn a 108-104 victory over the Charge. Stockton received big performances from Matt Coleman III (24 PTS, 9 AST, 7 REB), Emanuel Terry (17 PTS), and DJ Steward (16 PTS). Cleveland was led by Justin James (28 PTS) and Malik Newman (27 PTS).

11 PM ET: Austin Spurs defeated Sioux Falls Skyforce, 112-99

Despite 30 points from Skyforce star DJ Stewart, the Spurs outscored Sioux Falls by 17 points in the second half to close out the Winter Showcase in style. Austin had seven players score in double-figures led by Devontae Cacok who came off the bench and contributed 22 points and 16 rebounds in only 28 minutes. The Spurs also received big nights from Jaylen Morris (16 PTS) and rookie Josh Primo (11 PTS, 8 AST).
