It's time to get to work again!
The Delaware Blue Coats finished off their dominant Showcase Cup run in Las Vegas at the end of December, going 11-1 in pool play to earn the top seed in the eight-team Showcase Cup Tournament. They then rattled off three more wins against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, South Bay Lakers, and Oklahoma City Blue to win the tournament and the $100,000 cash prize that went with it.
But now it's time to start over.

Following the Showcase Cup, team records will reset, and the 36-game regular season will tip off on Wednesday, January 5, bringing each team’s total games played to 50. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top six teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs. NBA G League Ignite and Mexico City Capitanes competed in the Showcase Cup, but will not take part in the 36-game regular season. Instead, the two teams will face off on January 7 and 9 to kick off the NBA G League Ignite Tour.
The 2021-22 regular-season will commence on January 5 with traditional playoffs and the NBA G League Finals presented by YouTube TV in April 2022. The NBA G League has its complete game schedule for the full season for 2021-22 play available.
