GRIZZLIES SIGN JAHMAI MASHACK TO TWO-WAY CONTRACT

Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team signed guard Jahmai Mashack to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. In a related move, the Grizzlies waived center PJ Hall.

Mashack (6-3, 197), the 59th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has started all five appearances for the Memphis Hustle and has averaged 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 3.4 steals in 31.4 minutes during the NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament. He leads the NBA G League in total steals (17) and steals per game (min. 3 games).

The 22-year-old California native was named to the 2024-25 SEC All-Defensive Team and guided Tennessee to its second straight Elite 8 appearance as a senior. He averaged 6.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 steals in 28.2 minutes in 38 games with the Volunteers last season.

Hall (6-8 ¼, 240) came off the bench in seven games for the Grizzlies and averaged 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 3.9 minutes after signing a two-way contract on July 20. Unselected in the 2024 NBA Draft out of Clemson, the 23-year-old South Carolina native holds career averages of 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 3.6 minutes in 26 games as a reserve for the Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets.
