Heat Sign Keshad Johnson

Your Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed Keshad Johnson. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Johnson, who was originally signed to a Two-Way Contract on July 1, has appeared in 13 games (all starts) for the HEAT’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, and averaged 21.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.54 steals and 34.9 minutes while shooting 54.9 percent from the field, 39.6 percent from three-point range and 79.5 percent from the foul line. He has posted three double-doubles and totaled a +135 plus/minus. Johnson has also appeared in three games with Miami, totaling two points and three rebounds.

Johnson played his final season at Arizona after transferring from San Diego State. He finished his collegiate career with a 119-30 (.799) record in games he appeared in. As a fifth-year senior at Arizona, Johnson was a Pac-12 All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention and was a semifinalist for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award. He finished second on the team in rebounds and blocks, third in minutes and fourth in points, steals, field goals made, three-point field goals made and free throws made. Additionally, he helped lead San Diego State to the 2023 NCAA championship game.
