WASHINGTON, D.C. – The NBA G League announced today that Washington Wizards two-way player Jules Bernard was named Player of the Week for the week of February 5 – February 11.
Bernard averaged 26.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting .667 from the field and .909 from the free throw line during the week. He had the highest plus-minus stat in the league, averaging 27.5 for the week. Additionally, his 8.5 rebounds per game were also the fourth-most among guards last week.
Through 12 games of the regular season, Bernard is averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the Go-Go. He has appeared in six games with the Wizards, averaging 1.2 points per game.
