Kendric Davis Named NBA G League Player Of The Week

SANTA CRUZ, CA – Santa Cruz Warriors guard Kendric Davis has been named the NBA G League Player of the Week for games played from January 22 to January 28, the NBA G League announced earlier this week.

Davis posted 27.3 points, 12.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game in Santa Cruz’s 3-0 week. The guard put up a season-high 16-assist performance against Salt Lake City on January 23.

In 13 games (all starts) over the regular season, Davis is averaging 20.9 points per game on 47.2% from the field and 41.2% from three-point range to go with 4.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists over 30.9 minutes.

This award marks the 19th time in franchise history a Santa Cruz Warriors player has been named Player of the Week since the NBA G League began giving out the award in 2006. Golden State Warriors two-way guard Lester Quinones was the last to win the honor on March 21, 2023.
