Knicks Acquire Mitchell Mascari From The Kings

WHITE PLAINS, NY – September 10, 2026 – The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have acquired the returning Player rights to Guard Mitchell Mascari from the Stockton Kings, in exchange for the returning player rights to Vinicius da Silva and their future first-round pick (via Cleveland) in the NBA G League Draft.

Mascari, 26-years old (6-5, 200-pounds), appeared in 48 games (no starts) last season with the Stockton Kings, averaging 8.5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game on 43.8-percent shooting from the field and 42.5-percent shooting from three over 19.6 minutes. Mascari tied his career-high of 22 points on 61.5-percent shooting from the field and 60-percent from three, in addition to five rebounds and three assists against the Santa Cruz Warriors on March 22, 2026. He most recently played in three games (no starts) as a member of the Sacramento Kings 2026 NBA Summer League team in Las Vegas. 

Geneva, Illinois-native played his senior collegiate season with the Drake Bulldogs during the 2024-25 season, appearing in 35 games (all starts), averaging 9.4 points (40.3% 3PT), 2.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game over 38.5 minutes of action. He received Third-team All-MVC honors and ranked second in three-point shooting percentage (40.3) in the MVC (Missouri Valley Conference). Mascari began his collegiate career with Division II Northwest Missouri State (2019-2024). He led the team in threes during his junior season (2023-24), averaging 10.0 points per game on 48-percent three-point shooting.
