Mac McClung Headlines 2023-24 All-NBA G League Teams

The NBA G League today announced its 2023-24 All-NBA G League Teams. The 2023-24 All-NBA G League First Team is comprised of Osceola Magic guard and 2023-24 Kia NBA G League MVP Mac McClung, 2023-24 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player and Miami Heat Two-Way guard Alondes Williams, Utah Jazz Two-Way guard Jason Preston, Utah Jazz assignee Kenneth Lofton Jr. and 2023-24 Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year and Indiana Pacers Two-Way center Oscar Tshiebwe.

The 2023-24 All-NBA G League Second Team includes Orlando Magic Two-Way guard Trevelin Queen, Sacramento Kings Two-Way guard Mason Jones, New Orleans Pelicans Two-Way guard Malcolm Hill, Washington Wizards Two-Way forward Justin Champagnie, and Utah Jazz assignee Darius Bazely.

The 2023-24 All-NBA G League Third Team features Boston Celtics Two-Way guard JD Davison, Mexico City Capitanes guard Ethan Thompson, Chicago Bulls Two-Way center Adama Sanogo, Oklahoma City Blue guard Jahmi’us Ramsey, and Indiana Mad Ants guard Elfrid Payton.

McClung was named the Kia NBA G League Most Valuable Player after leading the G League in scoring at 25.7 points per game while averaging 6.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds across 27 games and pacing the Osceola Magic to a 22-12 record and the top seed in the Eastern Conference. He was named to the 2024 Panini Rising Stars Game during NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis as a member of Team Detlef.

Williams was named the Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player after averaging 21.7 points, 7.3 assists, and 5.4 rebounds in 27 games for the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He was named to the 2024 Panini Rising Stars Game during NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis as a member of Team Detlef. He signed a Two-Way Contract with the Miami Heat on February 9, becoming one of the 81 GATORADE Call Ups during the 2023-24 season in the G League.

Preston averaged 16.5 points, 9.7 assists and 9.5 rebounds across 31 games with the Memphis Hustle and Salt Lake City Stars, including posting nine triple-doubles during the Regular Season. He signed a Two-Way Contract with the Utah Jazz on January 9.

Lofton Jr. followed up his 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year campaign by finishing second in the G League in scoring with 25.1 points per game and adding 9.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists across 19 total games with the Delaware Blue Coats and Salt Lake City Stars.

Tshiebwe was named the Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year after leading the G League in rebounding at 16.1 per game while also averaging 16.2 points and 1.7 assists across 23 games with the Indiana Mad Ants.
