Motor City Cruise Aquire Returning Rights To Bryson Warren And Moses Wood

DETROIT – The Motor City Cruise, NBA G League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, announced today the club acquired the returning rights to guard Bryson Warren and forward Moses Wood from the Westchester Knicks in exchange for a 2027 first and second-round pick. 

Warren, 6-3, 191, is entering his fourth NBA G League campaign after making 28 regular season appearances with the Westchester Knicks in the 2025-26 season. Last season, he averaged 18.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 31.9 minutes per game. Warren began his professional career with the Sioux Falls Skyforce after being selected in the first round (No. 13) in the 2023 NBA G League draft. In three seasons with Sioux Falls (2023-25) and Westchester (2025-26), he holds G League regular season career marks of 12.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 24.1 minutes per game. 

Prior to his professional career, the North Little Rock, Ark., native played two seasons in the Overtime Elite league (2021–23). In 26 games with Team OTE during the 2021–22 inaugural season, he averaged 12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 25.1 minutes per game. He followed that by earning Second Team All-OTE honors during the 2022-23 season with the YNG Dreamerz, where he averaged 14.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 2.1 steals across 13 regular season appearances. Warren also helped the Dreamerz reach the OTE Championship, averaging 14.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists across six playoff games.

Wood, 6-8, 210, is currently playing overseas with Team Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France) in the Jeep Elite. In the season opener, Wood scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in 17.4 minutes. The Reno, Nev., native also spent last season internationally with ALBA Berlin, where he played 66 games and averaged 9.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 19.3 minutes per game. Wood helped ALBA reach the 2026 German Cup Final and went on to help the club win the German championship.

Wood began his professional career in the NBA G League with Valley after being allocated from the Phoenix Suns. He played all 50 games between the Tip-Off Tournament and regular season and held averages of 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 30.7 minutes per game. Additionally, he helped lead Valley to a playoff run, as he averaged 11.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.5 blocks after two rounds of the 2024-25 NBA G League playoffs.

Prior to his professional career, Wood played five collegiate seasons at Tulane (2018-19), UNLV (2020-21), Portland (2021-23) and Washington (2023-24). He earned All-WCC honorable mention honors in 2021-22 and All-WCC Second Team honors in 2022-23 with Portland, where he helped the Pilots earn a pair of WCC Tournament victories. He tallied NCAA averages of 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 27.7 minutes per game.
