New York Knicks Sign Dylan Windler

NEW YORK, July 26, 2023 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard-forward Dylan Windler to a contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Windler, 6-6, 196 pounds, averaged 12.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 11 games (two starts) last season with the Cleveland Charge, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ NBA G League affiliate. He was drafted in the first round (26th overall pick) in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers. He holds career averages of 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds over 11.7 minutes in 84 games over three seasons with Cleveland. He recorded a career-high 15 points to go along with five rebounds on Feb. 23, 2021, in a 112-111 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Indianapolis, IN-native played four seasons at Belmont University where he averaged 13.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists. During his senior season he was named First-Team All-OVC after he averaged 21.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 33.2 minutes in 33 games (all starts) helping the Bruins reach the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in school history.
The New York Knicks have waived guard Trevor Keels.
