No. 3 Blue Advances To Second-Ever G League Finals With Win Over Kings

STOCKTON, Calif., April 7, 2024 – The Oklahoma City Blue (3-0) defeated the Stockton Kings (1-1), 114-107, on Sunday night at Adventist Health Arena to advance to the NBA G League Finals for the second time in team history. Thunder assignment player Ousmane Dieng tallied 23 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block to help lead the Blue to victory.
Oklahoma City trailed 27-16 after the first quarter before responding by outscoring Stockton by 24 points in the second to lead 58-45 at halftime. Both teams scored 29 apiece in the third frame as the Blue maintained its 13-point lead through three. The Kings trimmed its deficit to as few as five, but the Blue held off the late comeback attempt to claim the win.
Jahmi’us Ramsey scored a team-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting and grabbed eight boards for the Blue. All three two-way players were active for the Blue, led by Adam Flagler who tallied 21 points and five assists. Keyontae Johnson scored 17 points and grabbed four rebounds while Olivier Sarr added four points and eight rebounds.
Stockton was led by Stanley Johnson who posted a game-high 30 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. Next up, Oklahoma City faces the Maine Celtics in Game 1 of the 2024 NBA G League Finals on Tuesday, April 9th at 7 p.m. CT at the Portland Expo Building.
