No. 3 Blue Defeats No. 2 Skyforce To Advance To Conference Finals

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., April 5, 2024 – The Oklahoma City Blue (2-0) defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce (0-1), 111-93, on Friday night at the Sanford Pentagon to advance to the Western Conference Finals. Two-way player Olivier Sarr posted a double-double with 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting and 11 rebounds to go along with six assists and five blocks to help lead the Blue to victory.

Oklahoma City fell behind 25-23 after the first quarter before outscoring Sioux Falls 32-24 in the second frame to hold a 55-49 lead at the break. After a back-and-forth third quarter, the Blue won the final frame 34-18 to secure the road playoff win and advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Two-way player Adam Flagler tallied 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while fellow two-way player Keyontae Johnson scored 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Hunter Maldonado added 15 points, six boards and five assists off the bench in the win.

Sioux Falls was led by Alondes Williams who posted 24 points, eight assists and five rebounds.

Next up, Oklahoma City heads to Stockton to take on the Kings on Sunday, April 2nd at 8 p.m. CT at Adventist Health Arena.
