Oscar Tshiebwe Named Final Regular Season NBA G League Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – April 3, 2024 – The NBA G League has named Indiana Mad Ants forward Oscar Tshiebwe as the Player of the Week for games between March 25-30, 2024.
It is the final Player of the Week nod for the league during the regular season. Postseason games began on April 2.
The Mad Ants went 2-1 during the week, including finishing the regular season with a two-game road sweep of Eastern Conference first place Osceola.
Tshiebwe started his week with 24 points and 26 rebounds in a 113-109 road loss to Wisconsin on March 27. He followed that up with his third straight 20/20 game on March 29 with 23 points and 20 rebounds in a 127-119 win over Osceola. On March 30, he closed out the three game week with 20 points and 14 rebounds in a 127-118 win over Osceola.
For the week, Tshiebwe averaged 22.3 points and 20 rebounds per game while shooting 65 percent (28-43) from the field and 86 percent (6-7) from the free throw line.
Tshiebwe is the first Mad Ant to earn the Player of the Week honor since Gabe York in January 2022. It is the 19th Player of the Week honor in franchise history.
